How to Record Calls on iPhone | Free & Easy

In this step-by-step tutorial, learn how to record calls on an iPhone. This is completely free. There are no time limits. You can record incoming and outgoing calls. The only catch is that your phone number needs to be in the United States or Canada. At the end, I share a workaround if you don't have a North American number.

🔏Note on privacy / security: Call recordings are stored on Rev's servers. If you're recording a routine call, the risk is low. If you're discussing highly confidential trade secrets, it's better to use an in-house alternative. As far as standard phone calls, there's also risk that the phone provider can access the stream. For the best privacy / security, use an app like Signal where your call is end-to-end encrypted.
🌎The app is limited to the US and Canada. If you want to work around this limitation, set your App Store to US in iPhone settings, use an SMS verify service (you can search for one on Google/Bing), and then you can use the app. You'll want to make sure you have cheap or unlimited US calling on your phone since it calls a US based number to record.

I was able to download the app, create my account, and saved the REV ph number on my phone, I immediately called one of my family members to test out the app, and yes it’s a good idea to go to the settings and disable the announcement message, and try it out first on some practice calls before you actually use it to record a serious phone call. I called the REV customer service and they told me there were no hidden fees no charges on just recording. They only charge if you use their transcription services, foreign language, subtitles, and their other services but not the actual recording of phone calls.

Here in Denmark legislation says, that if you are part of the conversation you are not obligated to inform the other part.
If you are A, in a conversation between A and B, no consent is required. But if you are C in a conversation between A and B, consent from both parties are required. Such an illegal recording would also be inadmissible in court. This goes for phone calls, simple recordings, etc.
