I'm confused at all the people talking shit.
This game is by far the best PC game ive played since Fallout 2. I struggled with it at first, considering I couldn't play BG simply due to difficulty. It's wonderful. Challenging enough to make you feel rewarded, forgiving enough to let you be immersed in the story. Graphics are stunning. The fighting is not only well-made but also original with its elements.
Well-deserved game of the year award. Excited for the second one.
Also, it's one of those rare gems you don't get bored playing through a second time.

Good to see this kind of game doing well. Maybe Bethesda will realise that people want RPG elements in their supposed RPG games. But seeing how well Skyrim did I think the series will continue to be watered down.

This is my most played rpg since skyrim, i just love the -advantage" type of game, and also a plus that i get to do quests with riddles and stuff without the arrows or auto-walk feature to tell me where and how to finish the quest. And i can almost do anything in this game with my friend (loving the co-op feature aswell). This is definitely a 9.0 for me aswell. I just hope that when i finish the game, they'll add DLC with new places to explore and more bosses to beat!

I just replayed Baldurs's Gate 1 and realized I still love it more than most modern games. Probably going to get this then.

What all need is a setting that controls the speed of battle so that the player can play very reaction-based or slow enough to not having to pause the game

hey downloading it now, just wondering i played NVWN: Icewindale, All baldurs gates and planescape torment. Does the story compare or is it pretty generic?

I just don't get how this isn't a 10, he praises the game the whole time and then mentions the absolutely tiny list of flaws that shadow in comparison to games they've given a higher score to.

I always wonder which is the measure to bring 8, 0s or 9, 0s to games with infinite replayability, while we are tired of those 10s to games which are basically chained cinematics with zero replayability.
