Ego Draconis was really amazing. One of the most underrated games of all time.

Divine divinity is a very special name. The fact that is the first game in the series and not say a sequal to game called divinity makes it twice more funny.

If Larian just had more time & resources at their disposal at the time of Ego Dracosis... Good God the game we would have gotten I really hope they return to it now that they're self published and set out to create another like it. It had so many unique ideas and features.

Divinity Original Sin 1 was my first Divinity game as well as my first CRPG I ever played, but even now that I have played many more games like it, I still regard DOS1 as my favourite.

I think this is primarily due to its music, atmosphere, and setting. Kirill Pokrovsky was a genius and his music combined with the more lighthearted writing in DOS1 than DOS2 made for an incredibly enjoyable world to explore. Not to mention that the characteristic witty Larian writing was very prevalent in DOS1, perhaps even moreso than DOS2, which made doing all the side quests in the game an enjoyable experience rather than a chore. I distinctly remember reading every single one of the graves in the Cyseal church just because I liked the witty writing so much. Cyseal is still one of my all time favourite zones in any RPG, and I can still hear the repeating dialogue from the market in my head to this day. "No man has as many friends as the man with many cheeses" are words to live by.

Honestly, Ego Draconis is probably my favorite for reasons that can be summed up in a single word:

"Maxos."

Ego Draconis, what a great game. I worked for the publishers QA at this time and testing this game was so much fun. And stressfull. We even needed to travel to Belgium for in-house testing which was a great experience

I love how so many people first played the Dragon Knight Saga and love it and would love either a sequel in the same genre of DKS where we see the end to the Damian storyline or a remake of the games. I love the game as well, its the one that introduced me to the Divinity series and I've wished for years for a sequel, it's my favority RPG of all time (very biased since its my childhood), along with DA:Origins, Dark Souls 1, Skyrim, Sacred, Kingdoms of Amalur and the first Metro games, there's surely some other I'm misremembering but you get the point. I've never really liked turn based RPGs but now that I've tried and loved Baldur's Gate 3, I'll probably give Original Sin 2 a chance.

Ego Dragonis is so underrated compared to how good it actually is.

Oh man Ego Draconis was one of the first RPGs I played. It blew my mind back in the 2000s. It made me fall in love with the genre.

I'm jumping into Divinity OS now and it's so much fun. A treasure to me, someone who couldn't wrap my head around it for years, and I'm so awe-struck by all the dialog and mechanics. Thanks!😊

Pleasantly surprised that Divine Divinity is ranked so high. It's a fantastic game with lots of tongue-in-cheek humour and a great soundtrack

Recently finished a co-op playthrough of Original Sin 1with my girlfriend and we we're blown away by the system, story, combat, voice acting etc I've been trying to find a game with the same or similar combat system since.

We started Original Sin 2 about 3-4 hours in and it has not been very stellar yet. It's odd to me how they shrank all the numbers and the ap system, needing to level Memory for more skill slots is some bs (maybe you get lots of attribute points later? We're only level 2 so far), and the UI is much messier like the small hotbar with 5 pages in the first game was incredible! I'm also hoping we get the Teleport Pyramids soon.

Dragon commander was my first "Divinity" game. It is so different from Dos1/2 that i didnt even realize that the three games share the same universe until it was pointed out to me by a friend halfway through DOS2

Divine divinity was such a godlike game that it changed my life. It was so off the charts for a open world rpg with tons of options for those times.

I remember playing Divine Divinity after playing Diablo and Baluders Gate and feeling like it was a really well made combination of the two.
