I did rank 13 on my hunter while having a full time 40 hour a week study. Kinda pushed me to the edge even as a former old school Runescape player and that's saying a lot :D

Im from Grobbulus, and got Grand Marshal on 9/28/20. Rank 14 is a full time job. I needed to be unemployed as well as neglect my personal life to achieve it. Starting on Tuesday, the Bracket 1 team starts their grind and if your part of the team you cant take breaks to keep up with the other Bracket 1 players. All in All: 2 straight months of grinding from rank 7-14, 5.2 million honor total, and 700k honor a week.

I just wanted to add that I had a nice chat with a freshly rank 14 horde player on firemaw and as it turns out, they have a lot of bracket breakers, so on average they spend nearly twice as much time to get standing 1 compared to alliance.
Alliance on Firemaw normally finish their grind on Friday whereas Horde finished theirs on Monday, both factions playing about 12h a day

it was probably easier back in the days...now...there is just so much information and competition...so I assume much more... it also depends on what server are you playing...at least 3 month investment...it also depends if you have a good group, consumables etc...but it is time investment thats for sure

25K HPH is really high. maybe on BG weekends. as well as solo queing being around 8K HPH

25k hph? Are you crazy? We have done back to back 5 minute caps in AB and only yielded about 16k hph. Pugging nets you around 7k hph. You would need the best of the best players to hit that HPH

With AQ gear out GM gear doesn't really seem worth it, even the weapons are on par with AQ40 weapons. That being said, if you aren't raiding AQ then I'd say its worth it since the GM gear/weapons will last you even when Naxx is out.

"a less competitive server will require less grind per week" listen here son, i did R14 on Hydraxian Waterlords (EU-RP) premades don't exist there, some weeks i had to farm 1.2m honor on 7-10k hph, that was 20-21 hrs a day for 14 days straight no free day, no anything

on my server i need at leat 400k a week at rank 10 to 13 to 14 is 1 mil

Nice video however you are wrong about the system, its the best system ever made. This is not for everyone or you have balls or you Have not. If you see a Rank 14 give us respect.
