We have a mortgaged house/home in the UK, England.
This has seen a good increase in value over the last 6 years, and we've not had to spend much on maintenance.
Fixed-term for 5 years, then re-mortgaged to get a lower repayment and the interest rate is still good.
I have had better rates of interest on my other investments in the past 3 years, but, if I had rented and invested the deposit money, I would have been really stressed for a while, as the returns were negative.

Also, I couldn't as that was my partner's money and she was definitely going to spend it on a house.

Plus, if we rented, our payments would be higher and never go down, certainly not to zero, which they should do with our home, in about 18 years.

Renting makes moving easier, so we would likely have moved closer to my parter's job, which would almost certainly be a less nice area. So win, win, win.

It's somewhat strangely exciting that we are evolving faster than our forebears could imagine. There will be a time were everyone is connected, if not secretly hiding the fact In pain sight already. 5 G is good for instent gradification, but at what price would you pay for ones private intellectual property? Or just plain private indulgence. Like it or not, Pandora's prism has cracked and unless we do something about it, you might as well pick a battle and fight another day.

THANK YOU! I work for Nokia and I took a course on 5G (an extra one, because that's me, I do extra things). Your video says a lot and it's true. 6G is on the way but the test of 5G in real life will show whether and how quickly can we jump to 6G. 5G is going to change practically everything and a new infrastructure is being placed to create one gigantic wireless network. You would think we are connected globally. Well, it's going to be even more so.
Thank you for this video. With so many spin theories and burnings of the infrastructure education is the key.
