This powerful device works by delivering a humane, high-voltage shock to effectively eliminate mouse invaders. For your convenience, it's also easy to use. Just add batteries and power it on! To empty, remove the kill chamber, open the lid and empty the rodent into the trash.

Bought 2. They both worked perfectly. No sign in over a week. Happy with ease of use and disposal.😊

Worked the first time I used it. Mouse was always at the Chocolate Chip cookie bag on the kitchen counter. So I placed the trap next to the cookie bag and used and piece of cookie as bait. Worked perfectly.

Nice to see my comment since 2 months ago I haven't had any mice show up.

I've caught 50-60 mice or more with this trap. I much prefer it to the snap types, which either just broke their legs and left them there dangling and screaming, then I had to deal with that, or left them with bulging eyes that I had to see as I freed the carcass. With this one, they just look like they're peacefully sleeping, and there's no blood or bulging eyes.

And forget about the glue boards -- that's a very slow-motion death and is grossly inhumane. This trap provides an instant, clean, humane death.

The instructions say to clean the kill chamber each time, but I rarely need to. Only 3 out of the 50-60 kills had a little fur stuck, which I easily removed with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.

I strongly disagree with the video showing to use messy peanut butter as bait. The bait cup is quite tiny and hard to reach, peanut butter will soon go rancid, and it is impossible to clean out of that tiny bait cup. I use a few pieces of cat kibble as bait. It worked better than tiny bits of cheese or hot dog did. You definitely want something that will fall out when you empty the kill chamber.

I reuse the same kill chamber each time. There's no need to disconnect from the battery chamber. Just turn it off, pop it open, and fling out the contents of dead mouse and bait.

The light doesn't work as shown in the video. That feature needs improvement. You only get about a 1/2-second flash, 6-7 seconds apart. So if you just take a quick glance, you'll miss it. You have to stare at it awhile. And the mouse has to be large enough to hit the sensor for the light. There've been several times where the light never did come on, but the mouse eventually started decomposing, and the smell of rotten cantaloupe let me know a decomposing carcass was within.

In those cases, I wiped down the insides with an alcohol-soaked cotton swab so as not to discourage future mice from entering.

For those who did not have success, note that you have to be sure to put it in the path where they travel and make sure the bait isn't rancid. In some locations, it helped when I put a couple of kibble pieces in the opening, then around the first bend, so that they could see the bait cup and venture further.

Even with the wonky light and the puny bait cup, I am very pleased with this very effective product.

I just bought this at Home depot today. Set it up at 6pm, by 6:45 it killed its first victim. Rest in peace little mouse 🐁

I AM SO THANKFUL THAT YOU DID NOT FIND IT NECESSARY to demonstrate how this works by showing us a captured mouse! This freaks me out!!!! I am afraid of the lil or big critters and just don't understand why folks have to show one or many in their ads! 😩😫🙄 Gross🤢 and scary (yes, even on screen me). I'm not able to un-see those ads for 😫
Great demonstration!!! 👍🏾
THANK YOU!!!!

Mine got 4 mice then stopped working. Tried with new batteries and the chamber is clean but the mice eat the bait and leave now. I was about to buy the 10mice version, but that won´t happen now. The feedback sections on big retailers tells the same story.

It be nice if this video had cleaning instructions. I've followed the instructions for cleaning, but a few traps go off as if they've caught something. It's nice to know I can at least replace the trap half.

Also, please please please make the catch light blink more frequently. 30 seconds is a long time to stand their waiting for the light to blink.

bought one never caught a mouse with it - but used another type and it did work - I did notice the light turns on when you trurn on the switch and goes out even though the switch is on. I guess I got a bad one??? I wonder if I can see about it replaced with another - I have had it I bought at the Home Depot but do not they will do anything after 30 days.

Two of these electric traps in my house with heaps of peanut butter and all the mice do is lean in towards it and enjoy a free meal. These traps DO NOT WORK for me. I was better off using the live catch and release traps. *Update* Thanks for the reply since I had not been able to come back to this. One of the traps DID EVENTUALLY WORK. I think the other was a dud from the factory. I set cameras to watch and found that one worked.

Yes a dab of peanut butter. The light flashed when it has one. It buzzed for a bit when u turn it on. I cleaned it with peroxide an soap and warm water. One time i forgot to turn it on. Hmm. It ate all the peanut butter. Got it next time. Had one so big i had to pound it out.
I never just dump it in the waste basket. Put it in a zip bag so it dont stink.
Got a few drips of water on the battery side i missed. Wow, snap crackle and buzzzz. Quick shut off an dry it. It smelled of ozone.
This is really a good Little mouse snuffer.
Im sure thankful we Don't live in big rat country

0/1 markings on these kind of switches are not smart. The symbols are under the switch so only one is visible at a time. So, which way is on? Should I slide the switch towards the 1 or should the 1 be visible. Ok, I know what to do, just making a point about poor design. The markings should be on the side of the switch so there is no doubt what setting it is on. The worst case/product I have with this power button design is a heating fan with two power settings. How would I know if it is on high or low?

Mice are consistently eating bait but not being killed. How can I test if the unit actually works?

I got the one which alerts you through an app when a mouse it caught. First time it alerted me, there was a mouse in there, but when I went to dump it, it was very much alive.

However, later that night it ended up catching and killing two mice, of which one was the mouse that escaped, I believe. Works well!

Just got one of these today, an hour in and it claimed its first victim. Guess the aroma of Nutella in the bait cup was too tempting

I don't know if the other comments here are just trolls or people who use old batteries, but this baby works. I didn't hear the "buzz" the video mentioned but I did hear the "big buzz" when the mouse got zapped. About 5 seconds of 2kHz End of the story (in more way the one).
