This is literally what I did as a Verizon employee when people said their phones weren't charging... I could've easily gave them upgrades, made commission off of their lack of knowledge on this matter, but the satisfaction of cleaning a port like this and watching all the lint come out and see it charging again was worth every dollar I lost from making a sale...
