Canvas: 16x20 stretched primed canvas
Brushes: 3/4 inch flat bristle (large), #8 round synthetic (medium) #3 round synthetic (small),
Acrylic Paint: titanium white, mars black, deep yellow, burnt umber (brown) and fire red
Other: White chalk, palette, cup of water for washing brushes, paper towel for drying brushes

STEPS:
1. 3/4 inch bristle brush – Paint background with brown, black and white
2. Chalk – Draw outline of legs and shoes
3. 3/4 inch bristle brush – Paint base coat for legs and shoes with red, yellow, brown and white
4. #8 round brush – Paint 2nd layer of skin with skin tone (made in step 3), brown and peach (made in step 3)
5. #8 round brush – Paint 3rd layer to skin with skin tone and white
6. #3 round brush – Paint 2nd layer to shoes with peach, brown and black
7. #3 round brush – Paint 3rd layer to shoes with peach and white
8. #3 round brush – Sign with black

I would’ve never guessed you were and accountant! Thank you for the info. Is this your main business? Did you get college courses to paint? I ask because I’d love to segue out of my profession and be able to teach and paint on the side. I’m desperately looking for a new Avenue of life which fits my personality then what I’m in now. Another awesome painting by the way. You make it look so easy, I will be getting better with more practice on each new painting.
