I paint a 40x30inch oil painting of an underwater scene.

I am an artist residing in washington state! My paintings are heavily inspired by nature and its beauty. I work primarily in oil paint, and sometimes watercolor. I prefer to work in a mostly realistic style and occasionally experiment outside of that. I post oil painting time lapses, painting lessons and tutorials, drawings, art tips, and occasionally artist vlogs where I share bits of my life as an artist. Creating art is my greatest passion and I'm thankful for the chance to share it with you. ♥

That's what I love about art, when I'm painting or drawing I get completely lost in it to the point that I lose all perception of the world around me a feeling of total isolation and calm in a life where I'm struggling with cancer.

It's so calming to look an artist doing what they love

Those early years of motherhood are definitely unbalanced in terms of what you spend your time doing (as they should be). Glad to see you're not giving up on your art :) Beautiful as always Lena

I love that you explained how "YOU" see the painting as you progress. I'm a writer and I always wondered how painters "see it" as they create. This is great content, liked and subbed.

It blows my mind how you are able to convey the flowing dress material and qualities of water, the reflections, refractions it’s all amazing - you are incredibly talented ❤

All I could say is that you are amongst the few who have endured keeping the verve of natural expression through colors alive. Commendable work.

Dear Lena, this painting is extraordinarily beautiful. I admire your patience and passion as well as the subject the work . You've proved that artist can use any object for painting not only colorful landscape with easel on the beginning of it and the horizon on the end of it but also variety of inspiration. I wish you the very best .

You have no idea how much I missed you and your art! This piece is gorgeous, but I also really value what you shared about your experience with motherhood and art. Just as I'm in this weird spot of "I was always 99% sure I will never want kids, and I'm suddenly questioning that now". Seeing all those people whom I admire, having kids and being even more, not less, passionate and interesting, is extremely valuable. Thank you for being here, Lena, and all the best wishes to you and your family. ❤️

what you said about entering that flow state is so true, that is one of the best feelings ever

I will never get over how people take colors that look like they don't belong as part of something, like these dark greens for the water or the purples for the dress, and then make them seem obvious in retrospect once the piece is done. amazing.

Wow, this underwater oil painting is absolutely stunning! 🌊🎨 The time lapse is fascinating, and I can’t believe it took 4 months—such dedication! The realistic water effect is incredible. Thanks for sharing this amazing process and final result. Your patience and skill are truly inspiring! 👏💧

I'm very Glad you want your child to grow up and sees her Mother's Amazing and Hard Work! My Dad did the same for Me and My Family. I want to do the same with my Nieces and Nephews and Young Relatives. My Nieces and Nephews already told me they want to be an Artist like me a few times. I had a Nephew who saw my Artwork a few times and he too is an Artist, as a Grade schooler. He sees my Art and he told his mom and dad that he wants to be as good as me one day! I as an Uncle has a responsibility as an Artist, I have to keep learning and becoming a better Artist for the young ones so one day they'll know what their Uncle had as a reputation as an Artist. I don't just show them my work I Teach them, Explain to them how I did my Art in the Past as an Artist myself. Great work by the way and Beautiful Voice!😊

Nice to see that someone loves pictures with water just like me. I really love struggling to perfectly match colors in a very harmonic way. To make details on a picture is even better. Every detail makes you more proud of yourself and finally your work is done.

Finally, someone who knows how to paint. Pure artist. I'm tired of watching at ppls without any basic and making excuses with "this is my style". Just perfect.
