I bought one of these about 10 years ago. Best money I ever spent. You can grind a whole deer in about 15 minutes. Mine says 1 HP but it does a great job. I love it!

Can you tell me if this will grind bones as well. I want to use it for dog feed and i will be grinding the bones as well.

I haven't been able to find any information on this, but can anyone tell me the difference between the two slots on the knife sharpener that comes with the Pro Series #22? It's not mentioned in the manual, and I haven't been able to find anything in my internet

Can you unscrew and remove
the safety guard/protector where you put the meat through?

Uh huh, nothing but lies. I purchased this and grinding is nonexistent. It was all stuck in the auger and never came through the plate. And yes, everything was attached correctly. The meat basically got "grinded" by 30 mins. of me just pushing down the meat. And you have to hold the switch while at the same time trying to fight to grind. Tried calling Wetson and every day they said, " we are not taking any calls today, really?" For $763.99 a big waste of money!
