Pro-Cut #12 vs Weston Butcher #22

In this video I said it was a Butcher Series, it is obviously a Pro, sorry about that! I got so used to using our old Weston Butcher #12 that it just rolled off the tongue! I am very sorry about this!

We are doing a speed test to see if the Pro-Cut #12 can keep up with the Pro Series #22 Grinder! The #12 obviously has a smaller throat and head assembly, which includes plates and knives, but Pro-Cut made their name by creating commercial-style equipment.

Find out if the #12 can make up for its smaller size in the speed of the grind!

It was just pointed out to me that I made a rather significant mistake here....that is a Weston Pro #22 NOT a Butcher #22. Sorry guys! I guess the fact that it was a Pro Series shows the Pro-Cut in an even more positive light but still, my mistake!

Considering the #22 Pro (1.5HP) has TWICE the advertised HP as the #12 Pro-Cut (3/4HP), I'd say the #22 has SIGNIFICANTLY more torque and power meaning it would DECIMATE bird bones where as the Pro-Cut may bog and jam.

The pro-cut 12 comes in FS and SS for stainless steel. Do you have a preference to which model you prefer the SS or the FS and why? Thanks I will buy one soon from you. You guys do the best reviews on these and I can tell it matters to you. Thanks for sharing.

I've been using the Weston 32 Pro, chicken with bone( dog Grind ) partially frozen the slowest part of the operation is me. Other than that its goes through 60lbs like butter.
