don't get your hand to close to that hole!! I have a #22 and I use it to make homemade raw cat food. It grinds WHOLE chicken thighs (bone IN) without skipping a beat

avoid this machine, I bought the pro 350 #8 it's useless, it took me 2 hours to cut 5.5 kg, of sirloin. I started well with the 7mm but once I got to the second disc 4.5 mm it was horrible, I had to push the meat down with all my strength to no avail, then after 45 minutes, I managed to pass through the 4.5 mm disc, I tried one more time through the 4.5 mm for a second time, that's when the misery started for real, it took over a hour to process 5.5 kg of sirloin that had passed already in the 7 mm and 4.5 mm once.

This guy id phoney using deer meat that is like chocolate in addition he is using a machine that weigh over 50lb because the # 8 weigh 40lb, avoid at all cost.
