I am a single older woman and tithed ten percent for years, my bills were not being paid down. I began to study it, spoke to the Pastor, he said the tithe doesn't really count. But the offering given after the tithe is where the blessing is. I was sad I make 2000.00 a month and was tithing 200, 00 a month. I never made it through the month and had to borrow money to make it through. So I was told this sacrifice did not count...then I began to study...

awesome video series and teachings on early church! to see HOW we hhave strayed from biblical teachings is important to see how we can go back to them.yes, society has changed and times are different, but i believe most of what early church did then
we can start to once again do now.lets go back to our ROOTS and make a body that is much different than the world that convicts them by our denying ourselves and giving ALL our life, time, possesions to God, and to service, for Love of Jesus.i know that when i serve God and step out or do something my flesh would rather not i experience a true and real joy and connect to the Spirit of Christ in me.let us push ourselves to do what is contrary to what our carnal instincts and all around us expect or want.continue to do until becomes normal and we have went from glory to glory.then find other areas in life to give up and push thru(all with strength God gives of course, relying on Him)to overcome this flesh and to look more like our great King.thank you david and your ministry very much for your time and effort and sacrifice and i pray The Lord will bless you and this ministry!all these teachin gs have blessed me so much!

Monetary tithing began in the 4th century. Too many strange things happened in the 4th century.
