It’s the morning of 9/11. A messenger sings “Happy Birthday” to his daughter. A billionaire argues with his wife in a divorce hearing. A maintenance man begins his day. A young Russian decides she’s breaking up with her wealthy older patron. When the first plane hits the World Trade Center, these five elevator passengers find themselves trapped. Forced to band together, they fight against all odds to escape before the collapse occurs.

Their story is about courage, faith and the will to live.

A group of 5 people find themselves trapped in an elevator in the World Trade Center's North Tower on 9/11. They work together, never giving up hope, to try to escape before the unthinkable happens.

Some events test us. Some tragedies connect us. Some moments define us.

It was one of those tragic days that regardless of who you are and where you were on the day, that will forever remain in your memories. I can still recall exactly where I was and listening to my own heavy breathing and my eyes wide open and unable to talk for what seemed like an eternity. Even thinking about it after so many years brings tears to my eyes.

The documentary on the Disney channel, 9/11- One day in America, left me in tears after watching and hearing the testimonies of the survivors and those who didn't make it back home that day. Just a tremendous doco by National Geographic.

May all the souls lost on that tragic day forever rest in peace, they're gone but not forgotten. I was in high school when this happened and I still think about it everyday 20 years later and will until my last day. NEVER FORGET ❤❤❤

I can't believe it's been in just a couple days it will be 20 years since 9-11-01 2, 977 innocent lives were taken on that horrible day. I remeber exactly where i was at i was in the 8th grade we just got done switching classes we just sit down and opened our books to start our lesson the prinicipal told all of the teacher to turn on the tv i remember having so many different emotions R.I.P gone but never forgotten

my grandmother survived it she was in the 90th floor and was really brave getting down to safety she didnt tell me alot because it was a really sad day im still terrified as a kid thinking what everyone felt when they were up there saying goodbye to their loved ones..

This work is important not only to remember that day but to show some generations what happened. I remember when it was on the news live, everyone in Brazil stopped to watch like it was happening in our country. I was 7. I hope this never happens again 🙏
