This trailer could have been blank the entire two minutes ending with "starring Jake Gyllenhaal, " and I'd still watch the movie.

You know jake is a good actor when he can have me occupied for more than an hour straight just by him talking on the phone

Still have no idea how Jake Gyllenhaal didn’t even at least get nominated for the Oscars for his performance in Nightcrawler.

I just came here to read the comments and everybody else has basically commented exactly how I've felt. It's an emotional roller coaster that keeps you on the edge of your seat and it's so crazy because the budget for this movie couldn't have been much

Jake Gyllenhaal is a top tier performer, especially his darker roles. You believe everything he's doing without any doubt. Give this man his flowers, legend in the game!

What I really like about this movie is that they don’t show anything you just have to use your imagination just like in a book. I give this movie a nine definitely!!

Netflix - Guys how much money do we have to make a movie? Just enough to put Jake in a room for two hours and talk on a phone. Sweet, let’s do it.

My dad is a 911 dispatcher. I hope this movie give any sort of awareness to the real difficulty of this job. The real people doing it day in and day out are HEROS, real time first responders. The calm voice on the other side of the line when suicides happen, murders, fires, you name it. Hats off to anyone who does this job for real. One of the most difficult in the world.

This is intense. Such a good actor. Also, the woman on the phone her voice acting was on point! Seen movies like this before, but still curious to see this one.

Jake is made for such roles. After the prisoners where he played absolutely amazing such films are honestly extremely interesting to watch.

What makes this movie so good is that it keeps us guessing, or makes us visualize the worst-case scenario. Throughout the movie, our attention is on Jake's character, but it didn't take away the suspense. This movie doesn't show any violence or graphic content, only implications from it... Antoine Fuqua did a great job of grounding the story around the protagonist, but still making us feel the tension, forcing us figure out the worst thing that could happen.
