I seriously think the ability to have different rooms as residential or business on your lot should be a free update for every player. Just that one feature.

I love it, but I honestly expected more hobbies to be added, like in Sims 2 you could be a ballerina, a mechanic, etc

I already have multiple cat cafés in my world. I just made a café and give it the cat hangout lot trait, and boom, you have a café with a ton of cats around.

Crazy that it took like 10 years to be able to have your business on the same lot as your home. They really should make this feature available for the Get to work businesses too, because it should’ve been like that since 2015 when this pack was released. This entire pack is basically just a continuation of get to work.

I'm hoping they add small features to the base game like they did with life and death. Expansion packs can be pretty pricey if you don't have the budget for them. 😢

That reminds me, Sims 2 not having moodlets meant that the devs had to find other more creative ways for actions to have consequenses in the game, which included gameplay changes not just emotion changes. That made the game so much more deep and meaningful.

For rent was a city living expansion. Business and hobbies is a get to work expansion. Lovestruck was a get together expansion. Not to mention all of the stuff packs and kits that are clearly just leftovers from other packs. It's just sad at this point.

It's a Scandinavian inspired pack. Nordhaven definitely comes from "Copenhagen" while Gammelvik is inspired from Sweden (could be a nod to Astrid Lindgren) and last only I think is Norway. The world reminds me a lot of Stockholm, the houses on the market square very much of the Old Town of Stockholm, but the industrial part is Copenhagen (to me). Gonna be interesting if they add new foods too due to this

To be fair, all the careers they featured for a business can be considered a hobby, such as candy making and pottery. What they needed is a couple of more hobbies, such as archery, chorus singing, hiking, and collecting items to make diadems or other decorations for your house.

If For Rent is anything to go by, this is gonna be so freaking laggy to set distinct spaces in the same lot.
I hope they take this opportunity to fix the lag issue (more than they already did)

The tattoos one is THE BEST NEWS, I have lots of ink myself and love covering my sims, now I can have so much creative freedom 😍

I have genuinely been begging for a free draw / tattoo feature since day one. I am such a big fan of the franchise and I have been for so long and I was so happy to see them, adding like scars and birthmarks and stuff to the base game and all of that but as someone who has a very large birthmark on their leg and has always wanted to replicate that in the Sims without mods this feature genuinely makes me low-key so happy.

The Candy making is a appliance clone of the ice cream maker and not a hobby, the tattoo table is a clone of the massage table and the 'drawing tattoos' is a clone of drawing on Animals from Cats and Dogs (also cloned in Horse Ranch for drawing on horsesy). Also Tattoo...a job...not a hobby. So Businesses and HOBBIES has one hobby. Pottery.
