really wish they would stop releasing incomplete 40 dollar expansion packs… most of these gameplay functions are so basic and i’ve already covered them with mods. sims 4 is a decade old and only now they decided to add a dating app and FINALLY cuddling behind a paywall… the greed is crazy. definitely does not seem worth the money

this does not seem like enough for an expansion pack…. it’s a game pack at most but i think it should’ve just been base game (romance skill, online dating, attraction system) since they’re nothing we haven’t seen before

Everyone says ‘just use mods’, but the problem I usually find is as soon as a pack drops with features the mods used to cover, the mod author will ‘update’ the mod to not include those features anymore, instead trying to use a couple new tricks instead.

In addition, if you look around certain mod sites, they’ll say the requirements to use said mods are owning *every single pack in existence, * So you can’t even use them.

Finally, with the final solution seemingly being “Just get the mods before they’re updated and don’t update’, EA’s systems have been having a habit of *breaking mods* of recent if you’re not up to the most recent version of said mods.

All in all, it’s a pain, they know it’s a pain, it’s nonsense, the odds are higher than not people will just give in and buy the ‘expansion’ for one reason or another.

The last time Sims 4 made planned romantic events, was with the wedding pack. And to this day its an absolute mess that does not work at all. If this is anything like that pack, it will completely break the game.

It seems like they just wanted to bait people with the heart shaped vibrating bed from sims 1, since we were all jaded they didn’t release it for the 20th anniversary, and they couldn’t bare to release it as a free stand alone item and not squeeze out every penny from sims players ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Listen these things sound great to have especially as a console player BUT when I’ve already put so much money into this game like is it really worth 40$? Cuz I don’t think so 😭

We already have comparability from growing together- I can’t imagine trying to find a compatible couple with both those systems. You would basically have to just go into cas and manually alter any sim you want to date or else be doomed for a bad relationship

I mean, everyone that has mods most likely already has a dating app that's probably better then whatever they'll bring to the game, but the world might be cool ig.
