Most fun careers to play in The Sims 4!

One time I was a fashion influencer and made a whole catalogue of outfits inspired by Scooby Doo characters, and then all the townies were dressing as Velma and Fred etc and I feel like people don't talk about that career enough. it's so fun and unhinged 😂 like it gives you SO MUCH POWER

The scientist career has got to be my favorite! Gardener as well, but that’s just because I’m obsessed with gardening in the sims. And you can work from home🤩

I love the acting career. Its not too much effort for me (im lazy), and the animations are genuinely fun to watch. The hair and makeup, the actual scenes, I love it

The doctor career at the hospital is really fun, but i mostly make my sims work from home as a writer, painter, or streamer

i absolutely LOVE the Style Influencer career! and it’s completely base game. it’s so fun and has deeper gameplay aspects than most careers!

The police one is so broken tho, sometimes i’ve used old evidence for a new case and the game doesn’t realise it. Also sometimes when you arrest someone they don’t come to the police station with you. And usually when you’re going to arrest someone there are no other sims on the lot, so there’s not even a need for the descriptions of the criminal. I feel like this is a very repetitive career

i really love the scientist career. you show up to work, you drink 5 cups of coffee, you tell your coworkers about your goofy science ideas and then you build goofy things and one day aliens show up and then you go to space the next day with your person cloner/freezer to talk to your alien friend you just made. easily the best career in the game.

The acting career would be more fun if there was more stuff to do and rewards/events. Once you do a few shows/movies you done them all.

Heavy warning dream home decorator and the police one are very much broken. It is fun until it dosent work and softlocks you. I had such a terrible time with it, I don't reccomend getting it. But, the items in that pack are drop dead gorgeous. So if you like furniture it is nice.

The fashion photographer career also combines with the Stylist career as you can consult with a stylist sim, which happens to be one of my other sims. I added a modeling career mod to have all three interact.

Truly the only one that properly works here is the Photography career and I LOVE IT SO MUCH!! Every time I make a new sim I have to put an extra studio room in the house just in case I feel like taking photos again.

The scientist career is my favorite. I think it’s more fun than being a cop. I haven’t tried photography though. Looks fun. I’ll have to give that one a try. But the scientist career should have been mentioned. It’s one of the funnest in the game. Also, one of my male sims was at the top of the scientist career and got abducted by aliens and came back pregnant with alien babies!
