If sound is the question, in my opinion it’s the supercharger. There’s nothing like the high pitch wine of a supercharger. Also paired with a big block V8 and it’s insane.

If you want sound and that fluttering noises, you’ll want a turbocharger. On performance however, if you just want a loud, high pitched whine which gives you even more power, supercharger is the right choice.

Superchargers provide more linear power delivery it's more progressive. Turbos blow you in the face after a certain rpm.
