Personally it would be the supercharger. Turbo just takes some of that precious exhaust note away, plus the low down torque of a supercharger is very nice for daily driving. love the video.

Man, they sound so good. Its really hard to pick which one is better. Do have to admit tho, the turbo one has quite a unique note to it

This just came to mind but in some sort of universe id like to see a Mustang Voodoo V8 or Mustang Predator V8 swap in a modern Falcon. GM used Corvette V8s so why not. It would be a beastly Falcon.

Once you go turbo, you never go back. There is nothing on this planet like the feeling of a turbo coming on boost and pushing you into the back of the seat, whilst the view outside becomes a blur. Then when you come off boost, you feel like your going to be flung through the windscreen. And the turbo noises and blow off sounds can't be replicated. Replace the V8 with a straight six or a 4 and the experience gets even more intense.

After owning a G6E Turbo and a VY V6 with a centrifugal supercharger, and driving me mate's top-mount VT V6 wagon a lot, they all have their benefits. The way the turbo comes on boost at mid RPM and surges more towards the redline is pretty addictive, and the way a top-mount charger gives you that instant shove is awesome too. But overall I think I like the centrifugal charger the best, it just has a bit of both worlds and is a nice in-betweener. It'll give you that shove off the line, but it'll surge towards the redline as well. Only problem is there's a lot of things that can go wrong with a centrifugal charger.

You'd have liked the BA GT I used to work on. Craig Haystead put the combination together and had a centrifugal blower, liquid charge cooler and retained the 5 speed manual with a triple plate clutch. It had the stock intake and I'm not sure what the engine mods were but it had great tractive effort and was planted. I did the trans for it and sorted out the blow off valves so they were covered by the stock plastics. It sounded like an air tool line blowing apart every gear change, was unique back then.

Nothing beats that feeling of a big turbo coming on boost 👌 super chargers are boaring in that regard, but the sound of a good v8 with Gilmore drive pulleys running a 6/71 or bigger blower is 🔥 that wine is sexy as f…

Hard choice. If I had a 5.4 Boss and between Super-Charging or Turbo Charging the Engine, it would depend on the Price. Also if it was stage 1 super-charger or stage 1 turbo charger install it would depend on how much parts need to be changed. From what I heard the 5.4 boss when moding the engine don't need to change the OEM Injectors, Fuel line and Oil line.
