Not by default unless your soundcard supports it. If it doesnt then use the program virtual audio cable. I have a video about it

I've heard a few people say Audacity can really slow down your system, though. If there's any truth to that, I have no idea.

Great free and easy to use basic recording software if you just want to lay down a few tracks at home and dont want to wrestle with a pro programme that wi take ages for you to get your head round.It takes a short time to download and @cannedcream - I have used it on old and new pc's without any slowing down problems

I'm thinking of starting up a YT channel and I want to buy the Avermedia livegamer hd. Soon, looking at some reviews I noticed, it cannot record audio so my question is if it is easy to edit your audio under for example a gameplay video and how can I do that?

Personally i use adobe audition 1.5. I don't like the versions past that
