I've seen multiple Essentia tests that measured higher, and my Chicago tap water and ice mountain tested in the 8 range. It's a crapshoot. Fiji seems to be consistent

Good test layout... Well thought out. But I question you accuracy, as I have personally tested Essentia and it is almost 10pH. Maybe you got a bum batch? Plus, Essentia is FAKE alkalinity that will not hold up in the human body. Like others, it is made using RO water, then "minerals" added back in (from what source?) and the alkalinity raised using sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), so I ask, do you really want all that artificial manipulation in your water, from unknown sources? Or just buy a quality ionizer and get it simply with electricity and filters?
