If you like it, then you should probably put more than just a ring on it. If the O-ring on a modular hose is leaking due to wear, its best to inspect the full assembly and look for leaks in the hose. For full assurance, be system smart and protect the ride and don't forget the hoses when doing a cooling system repair.

idk why these quick connect hoses are even a thing the hose clamps worked fine an o-ring is just annoying and makes it so i have to replace the hose every time i do service where it requires removing it if not it will leak.
