If you crash and you’re not wearing protective clothing, it only takes 0.03 seconds for the sneaker to burst. 0.6 seconds for the jeans to disintegrate. The hoodie – gone in a mere 0.03 seconds.

Well that's a very effective safety ad

Sharing this to my brother who's crashed 3x on his motorcycle and just posted a video of him wearing Crocs before going out.

that's effective. I just got a full riding suit just to be safe. I don't even own a bike but still...

Respect for the guy who intentionally crashed his bike without protective gear in order to make the ad. 🤗🤗🤗🤗

Dress for the slide not the ride. Solid words.

Saving up for a motorbike at the moment, and this ad is the reason that I'm putting aside so much money for good gear lol.

My brother was hit by a driver who crossed a red light, he flew more than 10 feet and broke his right arm. However he was wearing a full riding suit with the complete gear. Not one scratch… if it wasn’t for that suit, he’d be dead. Sure he broke his arm but he would have been worse or dead if he wore regular clothes, as many do 🙄

Well. Some of my friends laugh when I say my riding gear cost more than the bike I'm riding but it is what it is, my well being is more important. I love bikes, but I love to be able to enjoy riding even more. Ride safe bothers!

I wish these ads are played in every indian home 10 times a day and in movie theaters before starting movies

Can confirm this happened to me. Had a full suit for the track. Was riding on a Friday morning in jeans and a dri fit t shirt. Luckily it was light but I have scars on my top shoulder that will never go away.

WEAR UR GEAR ALL THE TIME

This is exactly what happened to me in a pair of Reebok classics. Worst pain ever and I have to attempt to ride back home with an open shoe, bloody toes and a broken rearset. I wish I could post pictures on here.

I just had my first motorcycle crash yesterday, I can relate to this ad. Stay safe !

I clipped a guardrail on the way to work one day. My leather jacket kept gravel out of my shattered arm that split open on impact. The jacket, boots, and gloves were all scuffed.
But most alarming was the chip missing out of the front of my full-face helmet! Granted, I had burns and a shattered arm but could have had a shattered jaw and missing teeth as well.

One of the first things my CBT instructor said to us was, "1mm of flesh for every 1mph over 30mph, unless you're protected. That's what you'll lose".

Guy had a point.

Huge advocate for safety riding gear. I was the type to ride with vans and a cool tshirt. One cold night I happened to have a riding jacket and my riding boots on and a lady ran a red light and knocked me out of my motorcycle. Only thing that happened to me was a dislocated shoulder but my gear held the impact and the rough slide across the pavement. Ride safe

Good ad. Everyone always thinks it won't happen to them... Until it does. Ride safe guys, it's better to be a bit heavy and sweaty than be dead, paraplegic or in agony for months or years.

As the expression goes... dress for the slide not for the ride. Its amazing how many people I've see ride in t shirt, shorts and thongs. How do you even change gears properly in thongs?

About time another advert like that was put up again by a TAC in Australia. TAC Vic had Doohan doing one back in 2015 about safety gear. Here in SA, and likely other states, there was one that would come up before movies at the cinema with a rider going down and it talking about safety gear, think that was also TAC Vic.
As a motorcyclist, now self-retired from riding due to medical reasons because I dont want to become a statistic and leave some driver/family out there think they are to blame for it. I wont fully go into only to say apnea is involved.
I always shake my head when I see idiots on bikes wearing shorts and sandals, or even a t-shirt and jeans. When I got my bike at 17, the first thing I did was buy leathers and decent boots, and believe me, they saved me twice from road rash injuries.
