I can't ignore the Mavuika glazing. I think it's more accurate to say Capitano let her get away because he could've went back and seized the gnosis after she was weakened from the fight but he simply chose not to. Now I really wish Mavuika dispelled the fog so that we could see him getting into phase 2 and keep fighting even after the full powered attack from Mavuika.

Although the theory is interesting, we get to see Mavuika's dad's appearance in her family photo and let me tell you, he's blonde.
Capitano has dark hair, unless it's some power that allows him to change hair colours or something(dye) this theory is highly unlikely.
Tho I really like it.
