The implication of the corrupted Tarot and Relics scene is that the Goat is perhaps something close to a Jungian Shadow for the Lamb, being all his darker desires made manifest into a separate entity. Where the Lamb seems to be much more benevolent in his outward behaviour, the Goat shows a more aggressive personality, reflected by the Lamb’s bleat being replaced by a scream for the Goat. That cutscene almost feels like the Goat trying to tempt the Lamb to become more cruel and vindictive, at least from my understanding.

Here's a tip, with the tarot card "mortal oath" And the sword, you can attack quickly and be immortal while doing it, making the bishops' no-hit achievements infinitely easier. (Only with strong attacks)
