This is a trial of the higher edition. I am curious if you think the free version (once the trial runs out) is adequate? Can it be used as a main help desk ticketing system? i believe the free version is called sprout.

This is a great video. I have been experimenting with HESK for the past three months. I tried setting it up to send and retrieve email, but it seems to be broke or I don't know what I'm doing.


I tried getting people to use the help desk so I could keep our conversations organized, but it turns them off.



When I looked at the free alternatives, I quickly dismissed fresh desk because it was cloud and I would lose everything if it failed. Your video changed my thinking.

Nice video Adam! There are not a lot of videos on Freshdesk so this resource is a welcome find. A time index would make the video easier to navigate and better organized. Have you had experience with Basecamp? I'm a #freelance WordPress web designer and I'm considering Freshdesk as a way to streamline communication between me (my sole employee) and my clients. I like it, I have clients that always send me text messages and it is a nightmare to keep track of their requests. Now I have to get them to look at email.

Adam, are you still using FreshDesk or are you using LiveAgent? I like the seamless idea ... I am not sure LiveAgent has integration with Outlook or Gmial does it. Feel free to correct me. :)

Hi, great video! I have a question: the emails sent via Freshdesk don't appear in my SENT mailbox on the hosting server. I only have the SMTP logs on the server... how can I have the actual emails appear in my SENT mailbox?
