Wow, this is a really impressive tactic. Will try it out as I am in the process for getting another position inside the company I am working for. It will be a new team and I think, bringing up my own ideas and a plan on how to achieve these goals might give me the needed advantage over the other people chasing one of the new positions!

I have a job interview realllly soon for an internal position, after volunteering for a year in a similar role at the same place they asked me to fillin while they found a newbie, well i applied and have an interview this week despite the fact i am SO underqualified its ridiculous to even go for it. Hello Don -- Question: I'm doing an internal interview BUT the interviewers selected are my peers who I'll be leading if I get the role which seems an odd selection vs perhaps others who are actually in a similar role in other areas.  I could see one of them perhaps but not all.  Furthermore, 2 of them are more junior to me.  Can I suggest to the manager additional interviewers?
