these are tips i wrote a few years back.
i feel like i'm constantly going through a battle with emotions and these are the things i often remind myself when i get paralyzed by fear or anxiety. what we choose to do with our time is a reflection of a lot of things that go on inside our head, not only what we need to do, but what we think we deserve and are worth. i'm constantly fascinated by how much i can change my perspective and therefore my productivity and inner space when i let go of certain thoughts and hold on to others, or change my environment, or give my body something that it needs to feel better.
i also wanted to give a different perspective on self-discipline, as i think it has a bad reputation. it shouldn't! instead of going about it in a very strict rigid manner, we should approach it in a more open, gentle way, like the guide and structure to our days that allow us to be set free from emotions that can hold us back.
