Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein is polling at 2% nationally, drawing attention from US voters as the ‘anti-genocide’ candidate for her opposition to US support for Israel. Her opponents in the Democratic Party label her a “spoiler” in key swing states. So what is she trying to achieve – and what does her candidacy say about the state of US democracy?

I'm born and raised in Chicago. Watching the 2 parties (dem&rep) go at it and nothing changes, they say other parties don't have the experience, but look at where experience has gotten us. It's time for a change and Americans have to see this. I googled the deficit since I was born in 1962 and no matter who was in office it just continued to rise. We need to stop war, we need to focus on America, Americans forget the positions are employed by the tax payers. They should fear us not the other way around. We may not agree on everything the running parties stand for but we need a change.

Voted Green Party/Jill Stein here in New Hampshire, last week! No other viable (moral/ethical) choice, besides Cornell West! I will only add this---that Jill does not have a chance to win out over the two morally bankrupt choices (two sides of the EXACT same coin) I and others have seen that RED line crossed for us, which CANNOT consider the "logical" two choices---this goes so far beyond the pale, that regardless of the consequences--Stein is the ONLY choice for many of us!

I'm a 70 year old here in PA. As a young man, I was a Republican and then later a Democrat. When Bill Clinton and Terry McAuliffe started dialing for corporate dollars for the DNC in the nineties, I joined the Green Party. I have enjoyed a clear political conscious ever since. The interviewer's questions are right out of the DNC playbook. She didn't do her homework. It's the same old interview. I'm sure Jill finds it tiresome. "Once you go Green, you're no longer mean!" Go Jill 2024!
