I am currently in Hanoi, the storm is 500km away but already seen trees uprooted on my drive home from work!! Crazy the shelves are bare basically, people ignoring traffic lights (more than usual) absolute carnage already

A buddy of mine over in Puerto Princesa, Palawan finally got rain today (3+ inches) after just non-stop cloudiness the past couple of days. Here in Southern Leyte we've had a few rains over the last few days, but nothing major.

There is a study that says most typhoons in the future will shift northward and more typhoons will form or pass through the South China Seas. Additionally, a lot of typhoons will be stronger and will form close to the coastlines.
