20 years back I was in NZ with my family, including my parents. After long hours of driving by car, my father took over the stirring wheel. On a piece of road that allowed 70 kph began a gentle downward sloop. I guess my father did not realize that the car was getting somewhat faster. Bang, a police officer caught us for speeding.
We showed our papers, the officer ask a few questions. Then he asked my father to better watch out for speed limits and wished us a good day. I was baffled, probably that is also the face I made. Then he said: Your father is obviously not a speeder, and I understand that you don't know the area well.

I will never forget this incident. I feel this exactly is the human factor which I often miss in our modern world. I live in Singapore where close to nothing is been forgiven by officials.
