Did You Know In AMERICAN SNIPER…

Bradley Cooper only spoke with Chris Kyle one time, and it was just a couple weeks before Chris’ death. He only got to speak with him for two minutes. After Kyle’s death, Bradley decided to dedicate eight months to bring Chris back in the film, and he did such a good job that the S.E.A.L.s that knew him said that they felt Chris’ presence when Cooper was around them. Bradley even wore Chris’ real walking shoes in the film, and he was given them after production wrapped. Cooper has claimed that when the film released, he was still wearing the shoes for his own personal use.

He literally put himself in his shoes. That's just crazy. Also the amount of weight he gained just to better resemble him.

Bradley made Chris’s dad cry when he went to visit him during filming because of how much he looked so much like Chris his dad literally thought his son was walking up the driveway

An ST6 member said the part that made him tear up was Cooper just sitting there watching the blank TV. Heavy scene…

This is one of the top 10 movies that actually moved me. Bradley cooper did a FANTASTIC job with this film. Usually when I watch a known actor in a movie I somtimes get the feeling like “oh yea, that’s definitely Bradley cooper. With this film, I was not reminded of this once. From the beginning he felt like a completely different person. Top 5 movies in my book to this day. Rip Chris. You were a hero 🤍

Even though a lot of snipers will tell you Kyle was after the scorecard more than the patriotism he was a man in his element and a fine civil servant

I was an extra on a tv series (kitchen confidential) that Bradley cooper starred in that unfortunately was short lived.
When I was on set for the first time, he was very welcoming and said hi to me although we extras were considered bottom of the food chain and we were not allowed to engage the principals. He is such a nice and humble guy.
Bradley, thanks for communicating we’re all the same whether socially or financially at different levels.
THANKS!

Cooper did such an amazing job. Normally I’m not one to praise such Hollywood types but man did he do such an amazing job in bringing Chris Kyle to the silver screen

He did such an awesome job and brought so much respect to Chris! Glad seeing Bradley Cooper go from hangover, limitless, and the A-Team to movies like this and A Star is Born!

Is there a Pat Tillman movie? If not, there needs to be one. Full accuracy to his life and death.

I will never forget one day I was going to a Texas Rangers game with one of my best friends and we had dinner with his mom before the game. They were telling me about his step brother's best friend Chris who had killed all these terrorist and had just written a book called American Sniper. I thought it was pretty cool but I barely knew my friends brother in law. After we ate we went to the Ballpark and we had no idea what was going to happen next, we were waiting for the game to start and Chuck Morgan the pa announcer for the Rangers announced that throwing out the first pitch was "American Sniper Chris Kyle" which made the whole thing really cool.
after that he became a household name appearing on tv shows and I read his book, being a fellow Texan and living near the J.T. Houston Ranch he worked on when he signed up was pretty crazy. Naturally his murder was shocking and very sad. He was just trying to help that physco and he killed him in cold blood that is really messed up.
