Transitions XTractive can be activated inside the car. They don't necessarily rely on UV light to be activated but they don't activate inside buildings. They get dark slightly about 30% in car.

What do you mean by you could customise the colour of the lenses? Could you actually set your lenses to different colours? How does it work?

I really like the silver frames with the purple tint. How many years do these types of lenses last? Is it time or wear dependent?

They should have a manual button or something for inside car. I know this is possible as I've seen AR glasses that do this like Viture and Xreal.

Post 1978 carwindshields block UV rays that activate the photochromic properties of your glasses. Hens they don't work in your car and stay light.
