I purchase all my eyewear with photochromic lenses. UV is present all year around. I tend to not wear sunglasses in the fall & winter which I should on those bright cold days. Spring to early fall I will wear sunglasses. After watching your videos I purchased gradient mirror & full mirror sunglasses. It is definitely clearer to see while driving & city biking. No need to use car sun visor.

I wear photochromic glasses daily, and if I’m driving and it gets too bright, I put on my prescription sunglasses. So yeah I agree with your conclusion lol.

Interesting video. One important comment: both these lenses are photochromic. AdaptiveSun are photochromic, hence their ability to become darker when there is a lot of UV. Adaptive Sun are photochromic sunglasses.

Thanks for the presentation and explanation. Both technologies are brilliant. I found with my sun adaptive they function really well indoors too (except in really dark light). If you can afford it definitely best to have both 👍
I think these Zeiss lenses are the best !

Another excellent video. Zeiss Adaptive Sun seems like the way to go. Even for the UK regular photochromic do not go dark enough. I think the UK is actually quite bright during spring and summer. Or maybe I am becoming more light sensitive...

The doubt left is, I think, what to have besides the sunglasses.
A transparent-lenses pair of glasses, or one with Photofusion X?
I also don't trust wholly the thing that indoors, when they are about 8% tinted, vision is the same as with transparent lenses. Not easy to notice the difference, I trust. The same, I don't.
It's like losing a bit of that colour fidelity that makes us want Zeiss lenses in the first place, seems to me (I haven't tried these lenses, any of them).

So glad that I watched your video before ordering my digital lens with photofusion in. Kinda disappointed about it wont be working well in the car.

I had no idea windscreens blocked UV - always learning!
Roughly how long do the photofusion lenses take to change?

Good video, I would like to know if you can get adaptive glasses that clip onto you glasses. I have to get glasses after cataract surgery. One eye I have monocular diplopia and the other eye I have negative dysphotopsia. I would like to get a progressive glasses but because I do a lot of drive I think that the adaptive lens would be best for me.

Hi
Very nice explanation. I just got my prescription photo fusion x and most of time they don't turn dark to sunglasses level even though sun shine is bright.
And from your video I learnt that they don't work well while driving otherwise I was perplexed what's happening. Thank you for the valuable information.
Why don't they turn dark in bright sunlight? Anything to do with UV in sunlight?
Thanks

Your photochromic glasses are awesome. I've been searching for such frame's.
Could you please share details of the photochromic frame's like what they are called and where I could buy ?

Which is better for driving, DriveSafe with BlueGuard or Adaptive Sun with polarization? How about combining them i.e. DriveSafe with BlueGuard + clip-on with Adaptive Sun with polarization? If this combination is possible, one would have driving glasses and sunglasses in one.

Hi, are Zeiss flash photochromic lens OK for indoors? Can I work on computer with them? Is there any reflection between the eyes and the lens ?

But how do you buy sunglasses with Zeiss adaptive sun lenses? I can't find any online

I've looked online and I can't seem to find approximate costs of either of these lenses. The photo fusion lenses would be with a prescription, so that's extra. However, I'd like to use the Adaptive Sun lenses when I'm wearing contacts. How much are the plano lenses?
