Finally an interior worthy of this truck.

Can’t wait for some one to do a comparison of all of the trucks in this segment; Tacoma, frontier, Colorado, and ranger

I wish i had a reason to get a new car. The new Z71 or Trail boss would defintely be my next truck. They really pushed the truck game! no just mid-size but full size too. I never thought I would want a Chevy.

I hit a tree branch with my SUV with LED projector head lights last year and cracked it while driving on the back road. It was a few thousand dollars to replace.
Those headlights may not be super effective, but definitely way cheaper to replace. Considering Trail Boss is built for the trail, it is the right type of lights

GM “don’t you dare try to tune this truck…you’ll blow it up and shoot your eye out, kid, ”. Can’t wait to see what the aftermarket flash tunes look like.

this thing looks crazy nice for a midsize both inside and out

The base engine doesn't have the same internals as the Turbo Plus and High Output so it can't be up-tuned, but the Turbo Plus can be optioned up to High Output under warranty as an option. Of course you can also spec your own WT with a High Output by ordering it that way as well.

These are excellent midsized trucks for sure. Love my '19 Ranger XLT FX4.. been impeccable over 4yrs. Waiting on all new '24 Ranger to come out before i make my decision but new Colorado ZR2 is top of my list along w/ new '24 Ranger Tremor.

At first i thought the headlight switch was a mistake but then i remembered i keep both my truck and my wife’s car on auto all the time…the only time i have used the switch was on my truck to turn in the exterior bed light…i think people will leave it on auto and never miss it

I wouldn’t be trippin over led lights on an off road package tbh. I’d rather change bulbs then a whole damn headlight

This trim is great, but LED headlights not even an option? Makes me wonder if you can just order the factory Z71 lights and swap them in.

Great video but how do you not have the weight and payload capacity? It's on the sticker in the door jam for every truck that is manufactured

Nice looking truck both inside and outside. Turbo 4 reliability is the only thing that only time can tell

The halogen lighting, no telescoping steering wheel, unpainted door handles, etc on the Trail Boss is unforgivable on such an expensive truck. Given the downright absurd pricing on trucks these days, it is criminal to be cutting corners like this.

Love the interior design, especially the low, horizontally-oriented dash.

I've owned a new 2003, 2005, 2008, 2016, 2020 and 201 GM trucks and have yet to need to use the headlight knob, other than hiding in the dark 2 or 3 times, with GM using auto on/off headlights for the last 15+ years on everything, it's a non issue.

Also yes!! I hate seeing those idiots drive with no headlights on when it's darkish or raining. DRL's aren't enough

Decreasing the backseat legroom is an unexpected bummer as the previous gen was just adequate enough to work with adults and great with kids. Looks like a good truck all around however hearing that the diesel was going away we hunted down a Duramax last July as we live that engine and it’s blend of towing prowess and efficiency. Glad to hear the new gasser focuses on torque, curious to see how they hold up and what kind of mileage they can eek out.
