HOW TO SURF POP UP (Beginner)

I struggled for a long time with my surf pop up because of an old left shoulder injury.
I'm finally able to pop up PAIN FREE on a 6"6 . Life is good!!
A couple things I did:
- I worked with a body therapist for a couple months to work on old scar tissue on my left rotator cuff
- At home I did soft tissue release using foam rollers, rubber ball, and a massage gun.. this was a huge game changer for me.
- I did simple strength work for my upper body such as kneeling push ups (elbows in), lat press downs using resistance bands and of course SURF POP UPS
