This video teaches me that bullying among nurses is something I should be prepared for; but I should also look into employment that implements policies to protect against this issue.

It is horrible in northeast Florida.. when I meet young women who tell me they want to be a nurse I tell them to run away.. I have seen and heard the worst possible things in nursing... PURE EVIL RUN AWAY IF YOU HAVE ANY SENSE AT ALL!!

I have been a nurse for 50 + years starting in the early 70’s. As I advanced in my career things got worse! What irritates me is how long it took people to wake up and believe nurses of how long this has been a serious concern. I am almost ready to retire and all I can say is it is about time. Where is and was the accountability? I have observed management over the years turn a blind eye to these problems leaving it up to staff to deal with their injustices. They either stuck it out or quit to move onto another job. The world has gone mad. Taking this long to notice and or start to do anything about it is UNACCEPTABLE. Don’t need a big degree for this.

I like the fact that ANA are trying to create an environment where bullying is not acceptable and there are consequences for any nurse that will bully a coworker. I chose this video because it was straight to the point and it was interesting what you could learn under 2 minutes.

If a healthcare worker or a physician decides to hit a nurse they should be reported to the police.

I'm dealing with this right now. I have a mental illness which is MS and anciety and these nurses I'm working with always make fun of me, play jokes. I sprained my wrist because of one of their jokes. I was sexaully harrassed. I reported everything to management and all they did was write up a report and leave it at the table. 2 male dsp tried bullying me physically. One act like he tried to fight me. These nurses act like a bunch drug using thugs. They bully the outcast.

I worked in nursing homes. I lost my job as a truck driver because of my MS diagnose. That why I jumped in the health care field. I not sure who to contact. I'm trying to get my cna.
