✩ absolutely biblically inaccurate angel(core) outfits ✩

Angelic, dreamy, and ethereal styled outfits... filmed on my bed!

I wanted to try a different style because I was sick of editing with a green screen/chromakey 30 mins into my first video, but sorta felt the need to continue because people seemed to enjoy it lol...

This time I fully simplified it all and attempted to make it look more polished? professional? Something more in line with what you see in advertising I guess?
I'm just an amateur so I tried my best with my limited skillset - it's difficult to move a camera whilst being the camera subject at the same time!
Do you prefer my voice over? Does it all look too bare without my little comments? Is the video pacing too fast?
Please let me know your thoughts! I want to make videos that people enjoy!

I've come to the conclusion that making longer videos absolutely destroys my willpower to edit as well as my eagerness to upload and film, so I'll most likely be posting videos shorter than 10 mins from now on.
Apologies to those who prefer longer formats!

hey fern, i think you did a great job w/ the more "professional" editing style (felt like a real ad, am in awe bc i could never lol), but i personally prefer your unique editing style!! i feel like your voiceover adds so much to the experience, i love hearing about your thoughts on the clothes/fits, designers, your inspirations, how you shop, your styling process, your styling tips/hacks, your jokes lol, etc. and i really enjoy how you green screen things, it really gives your lookbooks this dynamic energy, kinda like those online dress-up doll games if that makes sense?? also i'm all for shorter videos going forward!! tbh i think i'd be happy to watch any video you feel like posting lol. i personally prefer longer format stuff but it's not like i can't go back and rewatch your old videos hehe. anyway loved the fits!! <3

honestly i'm ok with shorter videos if that means you can upload more and it's not a burden for u to edit!! i love ur voicovers and the little texts here and there cuz i've combined it in my head with your style and it's the cherry to my pie when i'm watching your vids, but this was a beauty to take in too. all in all, whatever makes u happy is and should be ok for people!! hope u can continue doing this and enjoying it while at it :) xx

I think that for these kind of videos this style works great and it’s also very fitting to the theme.

It’s a win win, because it looks amazing AND it feels easier to film and edit instead of using and removing the green screen (and those damned outlines that just won’t go away).

For your vlogs, the voiceover is a must. You are funny and it is what it makes them unique.

The small texts scattered all around is what makes Ferntube Ferntube.

such a professional looking video! i miss your fun comments and voice over but i dont mind this being a separate style of video. what i really liked about your original style was the captions, which were super readable and also very funny! if you wanted to keep up this style of video, i think maybe the labels of the brands could be in a more legible font and the camera could move slightly slower, especially when there are labels on screen, that way its a bit more accessible. but your vids are honestly so much better than other youtubers lookbooks where they don't list any of the brands/sources, and i appreciate you going above and beyond with finding alternatives for each item!
