I go through many of the important considerations in determining what boat you need. The type of water you fish, the size of the waterway, budget and tournament use are all discussed.

SON!!! This guy could talk about Mary Kay and Home interior and I think I'd be interested! This is a gift to everyone. A legend makes videos twice a week just for us. Thanks Big

I just LOVE the excitement this man brings to all he does! You can tell he LOVES what he does. I'll never forget the video of him shoving a treble hook into his hand to show how to remove it. You ARE the man, Roland!

The heart of a teacher. I am just a half generation behind Roland in age, and have been watching him as long as I can remember. Son!!!! I really am enjoying the YouTube channel. I feel like he is talking directly to me. Roland Martin and Bill Dance. Bass fishing legends.

Thanks Mr. Martin you nailed it. I'm 52, my dad was a mechanic his whole life, and started taking me fishing at age 3. He taught me that there's a proper tool for every job. Boats are tools, simple as that, and you summed up the boat differences really well.

Thank you Roland for the advice and walk around talk with your boats. I live in East Tennessee and have been looking to buy a bigger boat for the larger lakes here. Hopefully see you at the Classic in Knoxville in a couple of weekends.

Ive fished pretty big watter in 14 to 16 ft aluminum boats. My dad and I used to fish Okeechobee in a 17 ft bass tracker but you have to puck your conditions and be careful. Small aaluminum boats are more versatile. Great video.

I have a 2018 TRACKER PRO 195 with a 150HP on it. It will do everything the big boat can for half the price of a NITRO 21. I love NITRO but can not afford it. I absolutely love my Tracker 195 40th ANV. You get a lot for your money, if you get the tournament edition. 3 Battery's, 24V trolling motor, Rims, spare tire, upgraded electronics. Less than a car payment a month. Full coverage insurance for $500 a year. My big boat friends say they would fish out of that thing, and have with no problem. Roland you are such a great ICON. Thanks Man! O and by the way, top speed ever was 67 MPH on my Garmins

I am really enjoying your videos. I have a 22 foot Suntracker pontoon boat that I use for both bass and crappie fishing. I have caught a 10 lb bass and several 7 pounders from this boat. It always upsets the guys in the "big rigs" (bass boats) when they see me holding up a big fish. I use this boat on Toho, Cypress, Kissimmee and Lake Jackson among others.

i have a 17 foot, 1984 dura craft all weld boat with a 1986 two stroke 85 on it. it runs about 45mph with two people, it runs great, paid cash $2400 for it and i go darn near anywhere i want and it fishes great. i have given it a facelift and for an old boat is sure looks good. i have 6 rod n reels and thats enough. i honestly see no need to go bigger and better unless you fish major tournaments. there are so many young people going into debt with big bass boats and for the most part i think its not needed. great video by the way.

Love that heritage boat. It super similar to richline boat I use. It's a 1993 year model boat with a 40 hp force on it. Boats clean and runs like a top! Aluminum boat will last a lifetime if you take care of it
