Thats because we were out riding bikes, playing sports outdoors, we werent sitting in A/C playing video games. plus many mothers didnt work outside the home and we got healthier meals, unlike the fast foods of today.

Those of us of a certain age will never hear this quality of music again from current artists, it's very sad.

I'm The Class of 72. Seems like it was only yesterday that I graduated from High School. I'm 68 now. Young people watching this.... Life is fleeting and realize your mortality. You re only on this earth for a short time. make the most of it, And RIP Meatloaf.

I was an 8 year old back then. There was nothing like having a transistor radio while listening to such great music!

Such great music sung with heart by people who ACTUALLY had singing talent, not techno affects ! I would LOVE a longer video featuring the full length songs...If anyone else agrees, thumbs up this comment !

It's crazy how a song can bring up such vivid memories from that many years ago.

American Pie was THE SONG when I was in Junior High School in the 1970's. It was much bigger than any of these other songs. ❤
