I'm in England and been looking at getting a Surron, over here they have to be registered and insured same as a moped and you need atleast a basic bike licence or full car licence. Cheapest insurance quote so far is £275/year which isn't too bad and buying the Surron from a dealer it would already be registered. To ride any Ebike here unregistered they need to have pedals and max speed of 13 mph.

Any other tips other than the pedals? I live in florida and the only thing that i think would get me in trouble for is the “motor power wattage”. But i feel like if i somehow could disable sport mode and keep it in eco then they can’t get me on anything. I wonder if they have to test my wattage or if they’d be able to just look it up and ticket me for it, even if i claim i’ve modified it. In eco it’s a Class 2 e bike, but if my pedals spin but don’t work is it still a e bike? so confusing, i might just blacken out anything that might make them able to identify the bike and somehow figure out a way to quickly disable the sport mode. I’m a safe driver i’m just using the bike in a high copper area. Also i take it on the beach so if it’s not a e bike i’m screwed.

i live in belgium. Completely illegal already. I got stopped by a cop literally in front of my house and got told off. for it to be legal it can only go 25 km/h and needs pedals. It is considered a full on motorcycle. you can get the street version. but then you cant ride anywhere off road.

Kaniwaba kit is so shit don’t reccomend . Every single piece either snapped or broke on it. Or fell off and got lost😂😂
