Door Not Closing Fix🔥👀

Показать описание
If your 1995 Ford F-150 or OBS Bronco door doesn’t latch tight when you try to close it, you need to replace the bushing on the strike pin. These strike pin bushings can be found in the help section at most auto parts stores. If you don’t want to spend the money for one of those or you can’t find them. You can always buy half inch pex piping and cut one inch section off of it and use that as a strike pin bushing

👍
Hinge pins also can be the cause, door sag kills the bushing. Hard door closure deteriorates interior door panels, trim and speakers

I bought a 6ft tube of PEX for about $5. Been using it for over a year and they still look brand new.

Also gotta make sure the door is aligned right, or else you’ll need another striker. Had to do a Mack truck door last week

I've got the pex pipe on all the door strikers on my '88 Ford escort. It's been on there for over two years still working just fine.

Ford tip #3. Front disc brakes on an f100 have rubber bushings. They do not come w any rebuild kit. Use rubber fuel hose.

I’ve used that pex pipe to make shifter bushings. They’ve been in there for about 2 years with no issue!

i used the one in the help section on mine but found i had to sand down the plastic part because the diameter was a little too big to work smoothly. been 2 years of daily driving since that repair and it’s holding up!

I've never had that particular issue. It's normally the hinge bushings that we're out

This also happens when the seatbelt is in the way.

Best color on an OBS Ford. My first vehicle (after getting my license) was a one owner SCSB 95, tow package, 280, 000 miles in color code JA. It's name was Barney. It's the only vehicle I've gotten rid of that I continue to miss. I also had to replace the door strikers on the driver's side like 3 times, and the door pins/bushings once.

Ok wow that’s really interesting and great to know thanks a lot for sharing I was wondering why my truck wouldn’t catch right thought it was the door out of alignment

You can also use nylon bushing inserts from trailer leaf springs. They are cheap like borscht and last for ever. I have some on my square body going on 5 years now. Still haven’t replaced them. Yes my square body is my daily.
