Last Night Russia Shot Down 110 Ukrainian Aircraft

At least 110 Ukrainian unmanned aircraft were shot down by Russian air defense systems, Saturday (10/19/2024) night. The drone plane flew over the skies of several Russian regions including the capital, said the statement of the Russian Ministry of Defense that was uploaded on Telegram, Sunday (10/20/2024) morning, quoted from AFP.
In that statement, Russia said its air defenses had intercepted 43 unmanned aircraft over the Kursk region.
A total of 27 other drones were shot down over the Lipetsk region, 18 over Oryol and one over Moscow.
Meanwhile, as many as 21 drones above the Nizhny Novgorod, Belgorod and Bryansk regions were also successfully shot down. Russia reports shooting down Ukrainian drones over its territory almost every day, but usually in smaller numbers. Kyiv said it carried out attacks, which often targeted energy sites, in response to the Russian bombing of its territory.#Ukraine #rusia #drones
