ALL PHONES:BLACK SCREEN, BLANK DISPLAY?? TRY THIS FIRST!

If your smart phone has a blank screen but everything else seems to work fine the first thing you should try is to completely drain the power by a power reset. You must be able to remove your battery for this procedure. Some phones you will not be able to take out the battery.... IPHONES, XPERIA Z Series, etc

This method words on laptops as well.

I am going to show whats called the 1 2 3 Method.

1- Pull out your battery. With your battery out hold the power button down for 1 minute. Then put battery back in and fire it up. Hopefully you are back in business. However if not, go to step 2.
2- Do the same exact thing as number 1 but hold the power button down for 2 minutes this time. If no go, go to step 3.
3- Third time is a charm. Do the same thing as the previous step except this time hold the power button down for 3 minutes.

This should work for about 50% of you. If this does not work look on youtube for the "smack method"

Woah! THANK YOU!! This has just saved my phone! It's an old flip flop and I had accidentally dropped it way too many times, so last one today I thought that was it. It worked but the screen was black so I could see nothing, and the usual tricks did not fixed it. Till I got to your video a few minutes ago!
