Den Haag explained ; The original name was des Gravenshaag, meaning the count of Hague's property. Same with Den Bosch which was originaly des Hertogenbosch, the duke of Bosch.

The hage is in dutch den haag and the translation for the is de so it isn't the hage but the better translation doesn't excist

Most of these facts aren't surprising any more by now... it's not as much in depth as the other videos out there, and please, just please stop butchering the names so badly! Put some effort into it and try to pronounce stuff like Google Translate or so

"The Haag" - just make up your mind; "The Hague", "Den Haag" or "'s-Gravenshagen".

"Fraisland", "Fraisian" - really?
"Saint MaarTEN" - nope, it's "Maarten" (like "MAARten").
"Curakou" - there's a squiggly thing you missed there; "Curaçao"

You pretty much talked mentioned so many interesting things only to skip the best parts, like where these languages are spoken and that there's a lot of dialects

Travel through Limburg, ask people to translate a phrase every 5 kilometres, and get a slightly different answer every time. Many people in Limburg can tell where someone's from based on which words they use, like "fits" (in Sittard) and "fiets" (in Susteren)
