It takes around 4.30-4.40 mins to go from platform to street in Arsenanlna on 2 different escalators. Another interesting fact is that the next station east is called D'nipro and is just above the river bank and that is the greatest elevation change between 2 adjoining metro stations entrances in the world. The best WHS in my opinion is The Kyiv Pechersk Lavra. It is a stunning site of golden domed churches and belltowers and has a cave complex with the bodies of many Russian and ukrainian orthodox saints. I've been in Ukraine 3 times sinve 2019 and only got back home at the start of february. The Belarus national costume is very like the Ukrainian one. Another fact is that the language although Cyrillic is actually closer to Belarussian and Polish than russian although to an english speaking visitor the words do look alike and some are the same as their russian counterparts. Another fact is that the flag symbolises the yellow wheat fields below the blue skies.

Ukraine is a paradise in Europe and the current war by Putin is doing much destruction to the landscape and vegetation but, we pray that normalcy and peace would prevail soon..I am surprised and glad to know that an Ukrainian invented the hurricane lamp. This lamp helped me do my homework and studies at home during my high school years in the village in Papua New Guinea where electricity is only available in urban areas.
