Building My Parrot's New Cage | Vlog #231

It's the moment we've all been waiting for! It was time to give my new baby #AfricanGrey parrot here new home! We went to a local pet market called Cartimar Pet Center in Manila and selected a large #cage suitable for an African Grey parrot, a long with suitable wooden branches. Come see how she reacts to it!

Hey Mikey! It is best to remove that box from the cage, I understand how you can see it as a "safe" place, but for your baby grey it's actually re-creating the nest. This can cause her to progress less active, or she might just not progress at all with that box, because that's where she wants to be all the time. When you make a big change, best is to let them get used to it, and move on to the next step. My advice is to remove that box, and let her get used to it. A move is stressful, but two moves (because you leave the box in there and it has to go out eventually) can cause even more stress.
I hope you understand this :P, parrots aren't easy to keep huh? ;)

That’s funny how watching the vlogs puts her to sleep because we do the same thing. We always watch Ants Canada every night to put us to sleep. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that it’s boring, it’s just your voice and narration is very soothing! 😌 #AntsLoveForever
