Hey so I have a bird and my dad and mom said don’t let her get out from the cage until 2 weeks, BUT I CANT WAIT TO PLAY WITH HER, she isn’t really trusting me bc like 2days?, but she eat from me, should I open it or wait tell she team with me??

I had mybird die 7 monthd ago, i never closed his cage, he was always free to get out and get in (except i was closing his cage whenever he got down and opening it back on when he climbed up, ge would get so mad and was starting to yell me to call my mom)
God i miss him..
He was in my life for around 7-8 years..
He died of a cancer, big tumor appeared on him and squezed his lungs..

Well, I always let the doors of the cages opened so that they get out whenever they want.

Cover the cage at night but leave a low level light on. Don't buy toys made with white string.

Can someone please explain why my buddies of 5 days and my budgie of 3 years suddenly died.There were no signs what so ever in fact in they playing and eating just fine when I came down and saw the older bird at the bottom of the cage with the younger one still alive but paralysed I picked it up and it died shortly after I’m crying right now because I got the new bird so my other one wouldn’t be lonely

My bird loves chatting with birds outside. Not budgies, just pigeons, tits and other birds in the area. I open the window once a day and he just chats with birds outside. Every time I place him in the cage and he sometimes tries to get out but he can't so I let him chat a little more than close the window and let him free flight :)
