I did it with mine the other day! Went really well. Straight lead, U Grove roller, and over sized tip!

Brandon, today at work a new welder was using a pad that he strapped over his left hand. It was silver in color. I have never seen that before. I seen one of your older videos about the left hand gloves. Just thought you might know about this.

Good luck, i spent half a day trying and in the end, it didn't work. I know spool guns aren't cheap, but it's worth it.

Can it sorta weld Aluminum? Yes, But poorly.

Spoolguns are used on Mig welders for aluminum as it is softer and causes problems feeding through the machine. This is why he's recommending a graphene liner, but that wont save you from a birdnest building up if anything happens with the feed.

Second, no AC means you're not cleaning the oxidation layer, which means more argon, and poorer welds. Especially at 120v. AC Pulse is even better.

Lastly, you can't weld thin items. 18ga and larger only, if you're not fast enough the weld puddle will just fall off. More speed and more heat are required.

Don't waste your money on a 110 welder.
220v only.

So, you just full the room with argon? Most of these machines have no way to handle gas. There sure is a lot of information missing!

I'm sorry but that was 1 of the ugliest welds I've ever seen.
